Who actually sells NFC tags in 2026, and what each one is for

This market is noisier than it is large. Below is every company we could measure, what each one is actually built for, and where its customers come from. Traffic figures are Similarweb estimates for July 2026, which was the latest published month when this was compiled. They are estimates from panel data, they are unreliable under roughly 50,000 visits a month, and about half this table sits under that line. Treat them as who has attention, not as revenue.

Three things the table tells you

Almost all of it is a digital business card, not a review tag

Blinq, HiHello, Popl, Dot, Linq, Mobilo, Ovou and V1CE are selling a personal networking product: your card, your details, your contact. A shop that wants a customer to leave a Google review is a different job, and most of this list does not do fixtures at all. No stands, no window decals, nothing that lives on a counter.

The companies growing are the ones writing things

Wave Connect is up 19.9% with 41% of its traffic from organic search and 4.55 pages a visit. Tapni is down 36.2% on a 51-second average visit. The difference is not the product.

Nobody in the review-tag segment is doing content at all

The platform companies pull 37% to 43% of their traffic from search. The review-tag sellers do not appear in organic search in any meaningful way; that segment is fought on paid ads and marketplace listings. Which means every comparison and how-to question a shop owner types is sitting unclaimed.

The subscription question

The single most common complaint in buyer discussions about this category is paying monthly for a piece of plastic. Most of these companies charge one. A few have a free tier that is genuinely usable; several have a free tier that removes the thing you bought the card for.

Worth checking before you buy: what happens to the tag if you stop paying, and whether you can re-point it at a different link without replacing it.

What we sell, for comparison

The tag is a one-time purchase and the tap works forever without a plan. Pro at $9/mo per business adds the stats history, the review funnel, your Action Link profile, multi-site reporting and the ability to change where a tag points.
